Steve Kurtz has been taking photos since he was a young teen, venturing into painting as an adult. Capturing scenes from life is his way of enjoying, recording, and sharing the bounty the world has to offer. He is blessed to be able to travel, and to use those experiences in his art. “We’re here for a relatively short time. Most of what we see and experience every day, was created long before we arrived. That gives me pause. It’s a beautiful world, the only one we have. We should treasure it.”
Steve holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, and a Masters in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Combined with his love of visual arts, this drove him to the Internet and Website Design, where websites are the perfect modern tool to visually share information.
Steve lives in South Jersey with his wife and children, who are all involved in the performing arts. While painting and photography dominate his visual arts portfolio, Steve also uses his creative skills to support the performing arts. “It’s truly a joy to be able to share the arts with those I love.”
